Healing House Membership Transition

Dear Valued Members,

My name is Muki Ramsey, and I am the founder and owner of Healing House in Scottsdale.

On behalf of all my staff, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and trust in our services over the years. Your health and happiness have always been our top priority. We have created a warm and inviting home for you and other clients to heal, with careful attention to maintaining the highest standards of care.

Unfortunately, recent economic conditions have posed serious challenges for our healing center. The COVID crisis damaged our clinic financially – we had to take on a lot of debt in 2020 and 2021 just to keep our doors open. After COVID, the hiring market changed dramatically, such that finding and retaining staff has become a massive struggle. And the ongoing surge in inflation rates this year and last has significantly impacted our operational costs at every level.

With all of these rising costs, you may have asked yourself, “How can Healing House get by at those prices, while their competitors charge up to twice as much for the same services?” Well, the answer is, we really can’t! I tell you, I have tried everything I can to make the numbers work so that we can keep our membership rates where they are, but it’s simply not coming together – not with the impact of COVID and these economic changes.

Therefore, after careful consideration and with a big sigh of surrender, I have come to the difficult decision that we have no choice but to adjust our rates upward to help cope with these rising costs. 

Here’s how we intend to do that.

Starting on October 17th, 2023, we will be scratching our current membership program in favor of a newer, simpler version. 

• The membership now costs only $29/month! 
• Members receive 30% off all services. 
• Members receive 20% off all supplements and skincare products.

Additional benefits:

• Memberships have no contract, and you may cancel your monthly membership at anytime.
• You can share your membership discounts with 1 other adult and all of your children, up to age 25.
• Members get a $25 coupon on our new webstore (where they also get 20% off on all their favorite supplements) when they sign up for their membership online.

And that’s the Membership Program! Super simple, right?

And the savings are enormous! Instead of paying our regular price of $125 for acupuncture, a facial, or a 60-minute massage, you’ll pay just $87.50 – that’s a savings of $37.50! Instead of paying $250 for bioenergetic screening or a 2-hour massage, you’ll pay just $175 – that’s $75 off! And if you buy just $150 in supplements every month, you’ll save $30 each month. That covers the cost of the membership right there!

But there’s something to keep in mind – we are limiting the number of total memberships to just 250 people. The goal is to make Healing House a bit more exclusive, so that it’s easier for members to get in for the services they love. To that end, we have also turned off some of our marketing strategies, so that members are not competing as much with new clients for appointment times. Don’t worry – all current members will be automatically enrolled into the program. You can cancel anytime, but keep in mind that you may not be able to join again if we’ve reached our limit.

A few more details: 

• Any credits that you have already purchased under our old Membership plans will still retain their original cash value. You may apply the cash value of one of your credits towards the purchase of an “Essential Service” (formerly 1-credit services), and 2-credits towards an “Advanced Service” (formerly 2-credit services), just like you did before. However, you will now need to pay any difference between the credit value and the treatment cost. For example, if your massage costs $87.50 and you apply a $50 credit, you will need to pay the difference of $37.50.

• We are not able to offer Specialty Services for the time being. Despite endless interviews, we’re still struggling to hire a new medical team for IVs, semaglutide, and hormone replacement therapies. The hiring market is simply not what it used to be! Until that changes, we will be pausing our specialty services. We will continue to offer services that you know and love, like bioenergetics, massage, acupuncture, meditation training, and facials.

• I am also glad to report that we have hired a new massage therapist! Her name is Leanne Ireland, and she’s amazing! During her interview process, she gave me one of the best massages I’ve had in years. She has an incredibly relaxing touch! And she’s available for scheduling right now, including every other Saturday.

Of course, I realize that these changes are a big adjustment to the way things have been done, but I promise you, I had no choice but to make a correction. This is a sink or swim situation. However, I think you’ll find that our prices are still very competitive! And of course, the quality of our care is second to none. I am still rated the top acupuncturist and meditation coach in Arizona by TopDoc Magazine, and I intend to continue offering nothing short of miraculous care to my clients. And that goes for all of us here at Healing House. We truly care about you, your health, and your happiness.
